MommaJam is action packed this week. Tune into the replay of MommaJam on 95.9 WATD-FM with Morning Show Hosts Rob Hakala and Lisa Azizian.
We talk about Marbles: The Brain Store, which has a bricks and mortar store in the South Shore Plaza and other locations throughout the U.S. Check out the podcast interview with Marbles CEO Lindsay Gaskins.
This week, I also did an interview with Gina Belafonte, Harry Belafonte’s daughter, about the HBO documentary that’s airing right now, called “Sing Your Song.” Gina is one of the producers on the film, an extraordinary biopic on Harry Belafonte that reveals how instrumental the senior Belafonte was in making positive changes in this world. He was a leader in the civil rights movement and so much more. When you see this documentary, you feel inspired to help your community, help a neighbor, or aim to support bigger causes involving people who are struggling. Check out the Q&A interview with Gina and review of “Sing Your Song.”
Lastly, what better way for moms to start the holiday season? With the opening of “Breaking Dawn, Part 1,” the fourth movie in the Twilight Saga. The infamous birthing scene unfolds in Part 1, but we have to wait until next year to see Bella finally emerge as a vampire.
Tune in Thursday, Dec. 1 for the next MommaJam segment live on 95.9 WATD-FM.
