  • Is it OK to pick a school based on location, weather and extra curriculum activities (think sunshine in Southern California or snow in Vermont)?  (Surprisingly, the answer is yes!)
  • Should I think about a school’s cafeteria and its quality of food?  (Yes!)

Lisa also gives tips on the face-to-face interview process and the truth about whether college admissions officers scan the Internet looking for incriminating photos and video of each and every applicant coming through their door (yes, again). is packed with information for both teens and parents at this stage in life.  Check it out, and tune into the podcast radio interview with Lisa for more inside scoop on the hectic and nail biting process of going to college.
