On MommaJam, Dec. 13, 2012, we are talking about:

1.  Homemade-DIY Holiday Gifts.

Try this easy recipe for Chocolate Dipped Pretzels:  Melt chocolate, crush candy canes with a mallet, dip pretzels into chocolate, swirl into the crushed candy cane, and let dry on parchment paper.  Wrap in a nice bag with a colorful bow and labels.

Enjoying spending family time together, shoulder to shoulder.  Inspire kids by getting involved yourself, so you’re not forcing kids to make the gifts, but having fun together to create Christmas spirit.

2.  Spuni Messy Baby Contest

I love this new company!  Spuni is a raising money to launch an BPA-free baby spoon that doesn’t make a mess when feeding babies.  The spoons will come in all different vibrant colors.   Any mom, dad or grandparent who has fed a baby knows how messy it is!  Spuni is changing all of that with it’s Spuni spoons.

Spuni is having a Messy Baby Contest.  Upload your messy baby photos onto Twitter with the hashtag #GetSpuni.  When Spuni reaches 50 photos, they will pick their favorite and send the winner a Spuni set in April.  In the meantime, the company is looking for backers through IndieGoGo, so any one with deep pockets listening, should check out

Go to Get to learn more about the Messy Baby Contest and watch the Messy Baby video – it’s terrific!

Happy Holidays!
