Bats in the Band  Click the arrow below to hear the replay of MommaJam on 95.9 WATD-FM with the South Shore Morning News hosts Lisa Azizian and Rob Hakala.

We talk about Brian Lies performance at the South Shore Conservatory’s Wacky Wednesday concert series at the Jane Carr Amphitheater in Hingham, a beautiful outdoor concert hall that is ideal for kids to rock ‘n roll every week in July.

My listeners know how important I believe it is for kids of all ages to see and meet book authors and illustrators.  Brian Lies is a best-selling New York Time author and took the time to sign autographs and talk with ‘lil guests after the show.  It’s a great experience for youngsters.  The music was beautifully conducted by Plymouth Philharmonic’s Steven Karidoyanes.  Many SSC faculty performed music and/or sing as characters.

Tomorrow on MommaJam, we are giving away a 4-pack of FREE tickets to next week performance by Vanessa Trien and the Jumping Monkeys.  Tune into MommaJam Thursday at 7:10 a.m. ET live on 95.9 WATD-FM’s South Shore Morning News with Rob Hakala and Lisa Azizian.

Listen live on the radio dial at 95.9 or from your iPhone or iPad device or desktop.
