To celebrate the day of love, we are sharing an interview with Andrea Buchanan, the editor of a new book called, “Live and Let Love:  Notes From Extraordinary Women on the Layers, the Laughter, and the Litter of Love.”

The book features 27 short stories written by women of all different ages and different walks of life, all sharing the trials and tribulations of love.  Many of the women are successful in their careers.  They are ambitious, they are achievers, yet they write openly about a time now or in the past when love failed them.  The stories show vulnerability.  “Live and Let Love” is a moving book.  It’s not about perfect love, but more about messy love.  It’s inspiring to see the messier side of love.

Tune into this podcast radio interview to go behind-the-scenes with the book’s creator and editor Andrea Buchanan and hear how she worked with these extraordinary women, some of whom have overcome great tragedies, including Anastasia Brown, Kelly Corrigan, Marie Tillman, and Lee Woodruff.  Then, read the book for inspiration from these fearless women who navigated or are still navigating the maze of life and love.  “Live and Let Love” is available in hardback at Barnes and Noble, Amazon.com, Borders Books and independent bookstores nationwide for $24.

For additional information on Andrea Buchanan, check out her website and read her latest work in Women’s Health about the benefits of crying and Glamour Magazine and her intimate road to having a baby.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
